Shipping policy
At Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud), we take the safe and timely delivery of our handcrafted sweets seriously. Because our products are perishable food items, we have designed our shipping practices to protect their quality from the moment they leave our kitchen to the moment they arrive at your door.
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days after the order is placed. Orders are processed every Tuesday and Thursday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed on Thursdays, weekends, or holidays will be processed on the next available processing day.
During peak seasons, product launches, festivals (e.g., Diwali, Holi), or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We will communicate any significant delays via email.
Shipping & Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Express Shipping: 1–3 business days
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, carrier delays, or high shipping volumes. Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) is not responsible for carrier-caused delays once the package has been dispatched.
Shipping Area
We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States only. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or U.S. territories at this time. International shipping is not available.
Shipping Charges
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on delivery location, shipping method selected, and order size or weight. Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions, which will be clearly communicated on the website.
Packaging & Food Safety
Our products are packaged with care to preserve freshness during transit. Depending on the season and destination, orders may include insulated packaging or ice packs to maintain product quality. Please refrigerate or store your order appropriately upon arrival and follow any storage instructions included with your package.
The most common way sweets are affected during transit is after delivery — when a package sits in direct sunlight or a hot mailbox. Please plan to receive your package promptly. Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) cannot be held responsible for quality issues resulting from delayed retrieval after confirmed delivery.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information so you can monitor your delivery status. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update after your shipment confirmation email is sent.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. If an incorrect shipping address is provided and the order has already been dispatched, Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) cannot guarantee successful delivery or reshipment. If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us immediately — before the order has been shipped — at homeforgud@gmail.com
Delayed or Lost Shipments
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact our customer support team at homeforgud@gmail.com. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and resolve the issue. Please allow 2–3 business days for an investigation to be completed.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos and/or video of the package and product. We will review and assist you in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy (Part 2 of this document).
Failed Delivery Attempts
If the courier is unable to deliver your package due to an incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or delivery refusal, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment. Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) is not responsible for perishable products that cannot be delivered due to these circumstances.
