Refund policy

At Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud), we want you to love everything you purchase from us. Because our products are handcrafted Indian sweets — perishable food items made in small batches — our return and refund policy reflects the nature of what we make. Please read the following carefully before placing your order.


No Returns on Food Products


Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns once an order has been delivered. This policy exists to ensure food safety and product integrity for all of our customers.

We encourage you to actively track your order and make plans to receive it promptly. Products left on a doorstep in direct sunlight or in a hot mailbox can compromise quality. Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) cannot be held responsible for product quality issues resulting from delayed retrieval after a confirmed delivery.


Eligible Issues for Refund or Replacement


While we do not accept standard returns, we will gladly review and resolve issues in the following situations:

  • You receive an incorrect item (different product than what was ordered)
  • Your order arrives damaged, defective, or in unsatisfactory condition
  • Your package is lost in transit and not delivered within the expected timeframe


To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must contact us within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date or expected delivery date (in the case of lost packages).


How to Report an Issue


To report a problem with your order, please email us at homeforgud@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos and/or video of the product and packaging (required for damaged/incorrect items)


Our team will review your request and work with our quality and shipping partners to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 1–2 business days.


Refund Process


If your refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund within 5–7 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 2–5 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

Upon review, we may offer one of the following resolutions:

  • A full or partial refund to your original payment method
  • A replacement order shipped at no additional charge
  • Store credit toward a future purchase


The resolution offered will be at the discretion of Awakening Moments LLC (DBA: Home For Gud) based on the nature and circumstances of the issue.


Order Cancellations


Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or shipped. Once an order has been confirmed and processing has begun, we may not be able to modify or cancel it. If you need to cancel an order, please contact our support team as soon as possible at homeforgud@gmail.com


Non-Refundable Situations


Refunds or replacements will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Customer-provided incorrect shipping address resulting in failed delivery
  • Package not retrieved promptly after delivery, causing quality degradation
  • Change of mind after order has been processed
  • Issues reported more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery
  • Products that have been partially or fully consumed
